Urinary incontinence is a common medical problem, affecting more than 200 million patients in the world. It is much more common in female than in male population. International Consultation on incontinence reported that approximately 49% of all urinary incontinent women suffered from stress urinary incontinence (SUI), 22% from urge incontinence and 29% from mixed incontinence.
