For complex progressive neurodegenerative disorder such as Parkinson’s disease (PD), the modulation of the host immune response to the transplanted cells by means of immune suppressive treatments which will influence cell therapy against PD. The therapy which exists for the treatment of PD will treat symptoms but not the cause.
